When is the last time you woke up completely refreshed?
Sleep is essential to our health and well-being. But if you’re like many of us, you’re probably not getting enough (and are always tired).
We spend one third of our lives asleep, so it’s imperative that we prioritize this often overlooked, vitally important, aspect of our health.
We’ve gathered 7 restful ways to get the best sleep ever starting tonight and start waking up full of energy.
Time to catch some zzz’s!
Get Enough Sleep
Experts recommend 7-9 hours of sleep per night for healthy adults (children and teens need more).
No Late Nights (Or Sleeping In)
Keep consistent sleeping hours. Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day (weekends too). No more sleeping in.
No Screens
The light from devices can keep you awake and disrupt your sleep. No screens for one hour prior to bedtime (read a book instead).
Create A Sanctuary
Create a beautiful bedroom (keep at a comfortable temperature). Your bedroom should be your sanctuary. It should be a clean, uncluttered, organized, and relaxing space for sleep and sex.
Bedtime Ritual
Create a bedtime ritual. Wash your face (remove makeup), brush/floss your teeth, stretch, journal, and read. Diffuse essential oils and relax with an epsom salt bath.
