Welcome to Books & Coffee.
love beauty thrive’s new monthly book feature series.
I’m so glad you could join me here, in the experience of impactful storytelling, growth, and meaningful conversation, one book (and perfect cup of coffee) at a time.
Here’s what I’m reading this month, the third selection in our book feature series.
UNTAMED (2020)
GLENNON DOYLE
Get It! Untamed (2020), $16.40; www.amazon.com.
“This is how you find yourself . . . In her most revealing and powerful memoir yet, the activist, speaker, bestselling author and patron saint of female empowerment explores the joy and peace we discover when we stop striving to meet others’ expectations and start trusting the voice deep within us . . . it is the story of how each of us can begin to trust ourselves enough to set boundaries, make peace with our bodies, honor our anger and heartbreak, and release our truest, wildest instincts so that we become women who can finally look at ourselves and say: There She Is. Untamed shows us how to be brave. As Glennon insists: the braver we are, the luckier we get.” – www.amazon.com.
BOOK TALK
I’ve had this highly anticipated memoir on my to-be-read list since it’s release.
After being selected as a Reese’s Book Club pick, topping the charts as an instant bestseller, and receiving so much talk (described as a phenomenal book that will liberate women physically, spiritually, and emotionally), I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Untamed (especially after finding it sold out).
A lover of non-fiction (and a little familiar with Glennon Doyle after seeing her interviewed by Oprah for her first bestselling memoir, Love Warrior), I have a feeling this book might be hard to put down.
I hope you will join me this November in reading love beauty thrive’s third monthly book feature, Untamed by Glennon Doyle.

I read with my children every night. This month, we continue to read the hardcover, illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (fourth book of the series).
These stunningly beautiful editions of the Harry Potter books have full colour, gorgeous illustrations by award-winning artist Jim Kay (my kids are enthralled by the magical artwork).
