As the pandemic continues, take comfort in a good book.
In these uncertain times, we’re washing our hands, social distancing, and staying safely at home to protect ourselves and our communities. And for many of us? We’re reading.
Reading as a way to spend our extra time at home for some, and for others, to find comfort while separated from friends and loved ones.
Book lovers, brew your coffee and curl up. It’s time to catch up on all the titles on your to-be-read shelf while staying home (but before you start, we have a few more royal books for you to add to your list first).
If you’re like Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall (wife of Prince Charles, heir to the throne and future King of England; a coronavirus survivor), you too will find a ‘loyal friend’ in books, as we endure the COVID-19 crisis (together).
We’ve listed for you the nine books from Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall’s newly released royal reading list, recently posted by Clarence House on Instagram to “provide some inspiration for those isolating at home over the Easter weekend.”
“In these challenging times when we are isolated from the ones we love, many of us are finding comfort in reading, to fire up our imaginations, to take us on journeys and to make us laugh,” writes Camilla. “With that in mind, here is a list of my dearest ‘friends’ . . .”
Here is Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall’s complete reading list to help us (read our way) through difficult times. How many have you read?
