Hippity hoppity, Easter’s on its way!

Family movies are a wonderful, affordable way to spend holiday time together (and if you’re looking for all the springtime feels, there is no shortage of adorable films about cute, fuzzy bunnies).

PETER RABBIT (2018)
The new, feature film adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s classic tale. A smart, mischievous rabbit tries to sneak back into Mr. McGregor’s vegetable garden with his three sisters (Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail), after a family relative moves in and schemes to keep them out. But Peter is no ordinary rabbit . . . and is up for the challenge.

HOP (2011)
Candy, chicks, and rock ‘n roll!
Where is Easter candy is made? In the Easter Bunny’s giant factory beneath Easter Island. E.B. (the Easter Bunny’s teenage son), destined to become the Easter Bunny and have the factory passed to him, only wants to rock out as a drummer. E.B. runs away to Hollywood and meets Fred (the oversized chick), a big time slacker – learning the importance of family.

WINNIE THE POOH: SPRINGTIME WITH ROO (2004)
Easter in the Hundred Acre Wood is cancelled when Rabbit decides it’s Spring Cleaning Day. Instead of playing in the springtime sun, he orders everyone to get to work. The friends are disappointed (especially little Roo). But Rabbit quickly realizes that friendship – love, putting others first, and showing you care – is much more important.

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN (2018)
Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) is grown up, lives in London and has a family. Sadly, he’s forgotten magic and wonder. After a surprise visit from his childhood friend Winnie the Pooh – and a journey to find the rest of the lovable gang – he rediscovers joy. Not an Easter film, but the fields, flowers, forest, and critters of the Hundred Acre Wood will have you blooming for spring.

RISE OF THE GUARDIANS (2012)
The feature film adaptation of William Joyce’s Guardians Of Childhood book series. Easter Bunny and the Immortal Guardians (Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, etc.) bring joy to the world’s children, protecting them from darkness. But this time, it is they who must be saved when Pitch Black tries to destroy children’s belief in them. Who will rescue them?

ZOOTOPIA (2016)
